Quantum Systems, the manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles, plans a truly large-scale multiple increase in production capacity in 2026

As part of its plans to expand production, the German drone manufacturer Quantum Systems wants to increase its production capacity by as much as eight times by 2026.

This was announced by the company's revenue director, Martin Karkur. One of the priority areas in the implementation of this plan will be the development of interceptor drones. We are talking about the Jäger - new missile-like anti-air UAV that reaches 4 km in 30 seconds.

However, as stated in the article of the Hartpunkt, Quantum Systems will create new production facilities directly in Germany. Although, it is probably worth expecting an increase in production in Ukraine, where the company also has a drone production plant.

Quantum Systems is gradually becoming a powerful and de facto main supplier of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Bundeswehr. This is due to the fact that the company's products are "tested in difficult battlefield conditions". This German drone manufacturer is an active supplier of UAVs to Ukraine and has a unique opportunity to improve its products in accordance with the feedback of the Ukrainian military.

In early December of this year, the Bundeswehr approved a proposal to purchase up to 747 Twister reconnaissance UAVs 25 million euros worth. Quantum Systems also supplies the German army with AR100-H and FALKE UAVs. The latter drone is based on the Vector UAV, which is already quite popular in Ukraine.

By the way, it recently became known about the preparation of a record contract for the company 210 million euros worth for the supply of more than fifty FALKE UAVs.

As Karkur emphasizes, the company is currently focused on fulfilling existing contracts, and is also constantly updating the supplied UAVs in accordance with their experience of using drones in Ukraine. It can be rightly stated that cooperation with the Ukrainian military plays an important role in the development of the company and its products, as more and more potential buyers want to order weapons with the "battle proven" label today.

The company's further plans include supplying the Bundeswehr with the large Reliant UAV, which is advanced mothership and has previously been offered to the United States. The company is also working on developing software products - after introducing the MOSAIC UxS drone control system this year, Quantum Systems is planning to create a system into which various drones from different manufacturers can be integrated.

Finally, next year the company plans to present its first ground robotic system, however, the company is not yet disclosing details about it.

Previously, Defense Express reported that Quantum Systems Unveiled Sparta - Ukraine-Made FPV Drone Carrier with 200 km Range.
