Updated report confirms two Mi-8 helicopters destroyed, one damaged

The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine has updated details regarding the December 31 operation in the Black Sea near temporarily occupied Crimea. Initial reports stated that the Magura V5 missile-armed naval drones had destroyed one russian Mi-8 helicopter and damaged another.

However, updated information confirms an even greater success. Two russian Mi-8 helicopters were destroyed, and a third was damaged in the operation conducted by the Group 13 elite unit. The crews of the destroyed helicopters were reportedly eliminated, further amplifying the blow to russia’s military aviation.
