The Commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Troops, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi said this on his accaunt on Telegram on Thursday, January 4.
According to the statement of the Commander, the russian troops almost doubled the number of combat clashes in the Tavria direction. Also, as he noted, the russians continue to actively carry out airstrikes and shell Ukrainian positions with artillery.

"In the operational zone of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Troops, the enemy carried out 25 airstrikes, one missile strike, carried out 47 combat engagements and fired 875 artillery attacks," Tarnavskyi said.
As Oleksandr Tarnavskyi added, the total losses of the occupiers amount to 423 people and 72 units of military equipment per day.
"In particular, 10 tanks, 14 armored vehicles, 10 artillery systems, one MLRS, 22 UAVs, 10 trucks as well as four units of special equipment," he wrote.
According to Tarnavskyi, two ammunition warehouses and another important enemy object were destroyed too (the commander did not specify which object was in question).
