British jets continue defensive missions while missile systems and maritime monitoring reinforce regional security

UK aircraft continue to operate across the region and are ready to defend people, interests, and partners from threats, the UK Ministry of Defence reports.

British pilots and aircrew have now surpassed 2,400 flying hours since the conflict in the region began, equivalent to over 100 days of continuous flying on defensive missions.

The UK Maritime Trade Operations Centre (UKMTO) continues to provide impartial, timely and validated security alerts to mariners in the region. It remains one of the most trusted sources globally for essential, verified and corroborated maritime security information in the Middle East.

UK ground-based air defense assets continue to be deployed at very high readiness to support Gulf partners, including the Sky Sabre system in Saudi Arabia, the Lightweight Multirole Launcher in Bahrain, and the Rapid Sentry and ORCUS systems in Kuwait.
