Ukrainian SOF Hit russian Iskander Missile System and Ka-27 Helicopter in Temporarily Occupied Crimea

Overnight on February 17, near the village of Kamyshly in occupied Crimea, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a russian Ka-27 helicopter

Ukraine's Special Operations have successfully struck the storage site of the Iskander ballistic missile system in the Bilohirsk Raion of the temporarily occupied Crimea. This was reported by the Special Operations Forces Command.

According to military sources, the enemy target was detected and destroyed near the village of Pasichne in the Bilohirsk Raion. After the strike, a large fire broke out at the missile storage site, accompanied by detonations. This attack was part of a large-scale series of operations carried out by Ukrainian forces between February 9 and 14, 2026.

"Special Operations Forces units successfully struck enemy rear and operational infrastructure targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine using FP-2 drones," the statement reads.

In addition to the Iskander system, Special Operations Forces reported destroying or damaging more than 10 enemy targets across Crimea, including ammunition and fuel depots, as well as a russian Ka-27 helicopter.

In addition, on February 16, the Defenders of Ukraine struck three enemy UAV control points:

  • in the Huliaipole area (temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region);
  • in the Anatolyevka area (Kursk region, russia);
  • in the Zatyshshya area (Zaporizhzhia region).

Enemy casualties and the full extent of the damage are still being assessed.
