Fighters of the Nemesis 412th Unmanned Systems Brigade have successfully destroyed nine enemy multiple-launch rocket systems during January, exploiting adverse weather conditions that russian forces attempted to use to reposition their artillery closer to the front lines.
Among the destroyed equipment were rare North Korean M1991 systems and two russian TOС-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower systems. Video footage of the strikes was released on February 9 through the brigade's official channel, highlighting the precision and coordination of the operation.

The strikes were conducted in close cooperation with friendly units, allowing Ukrainian crews to maximize the damage and minimize risk. According to the brigade, this is only the second confirmed destruction of M1991 system on this warfront.
The M1991 is a 240-mm MLRS comparable to the Soviet-era Uragan system, capable of striking targets at 60-80 kilometers and equipped to fire guided munitions. Its rarity makes its destruction a notable operational success for Ukrainian forces.
The TOС-1A Solntsepyok is a heavy flamethrower system armed with 220-mm incendiary or thermobaric rockets. Despite its destructive potential, it has a limited effective radius of about 6 kilometers, which Ukrainian forces exploited using aerial reconnaissance and precise drone strikes.
According to the Nemesis fighters, the enemy attempted to bring several MLRS units, mainly BM-21 Grad systems, closer to the front under the cover of winter storms. However, this maneuver proved costly.
Heavy bombers and FPV drones were used to neutralize the positions, turning russian systems into wreckage before they could be deployed effectively. The operation demonstrates the growing role of drone units in precision strikes and battlefield intelligence.
