In the area of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, russian invaders continue to press with infantry as well as use single-shot portable launchers of 122 mm rockets like the Grad-P rocket launch system like the Grad-P system developed in 1965 by the Soviet Union for use by North Vietnamese forces.
This was stated by the head of the communications department of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, Colonel Volodymyr Polevyi, ArmyInform reports.

According to him, the enemy is now focusing its main pressure on the Hryshynye area. The russians continue to infiltrate in small groups, constantly trying to gain a foothold in new positions.
"About a hundred infantrymen are actually on the move all the time on the front line," the officer noted.
However, most of them do not achieve their goal. According to the colonel, Ukrainian units destroy or wound up to 60-70% of such assault groups every day. Despite this, the russian command continues to throw people into the offensive.
At the same time, the occupiers are trying to bring artillery closer to the front line, in particular the D-30 howitzers (ed. - a Soviet howitzer that first entered service in 1960.). But due to the constant threat of strikes from Ukrainian drones and artillery, their capabilities are increasingly limited.

The military paid special attention to the use of the Kozerog-1 portable rocket launchers - in fact, just one tube of Grad-type MLRS a replica of Soviet-made Grad-P system rocket launcher developed in Vietnam War time.
According to Vladimir Polevoy, such equipment indicates a shortage of regular multiple launch rocket systems among the russians that can quickly work out and change positions.
"This is one shot, not a volley of 20 or 40 missiles (ed. - like in Soviet-made Grad-type MLRS). At the same time, we also see them and destroy them," he explained.

The colonel compared such approaches to practices from the Vietnam War, when they tried to compensate for the lack of modern means by massively using personnel.
"This is a throwback to the tactics of the last century, when they try to strengthen the artillery component at the expense of the lives of the infantry," Vladimir Polevoy concluded.

The Grad-P system is a replic of the Cold War era. Developed in 1965 by the Soviet Union for North Vietnam, it was designed as a lightweight, man-portable rocket system intended for guerrilla warfare. Decades later, russian occupation forces have resorted to employing this outdated platform on the battlefield.
While far less sophisticated than modern multiple launch rocket systems, the Grad-P system, or its rusian replica Kozerog-1 portable rocket launchers, still poses a threat due to its mobility and ability to fire 122 mm unguided rockets.

In the hands of russian troops, it was being used to shell Ukrainian defensive lines near Pokrovsk, an area that has seen heavy fighting. But now, when Ukraine's forces use all tools of netcentryc warfare use of such archaic tools by russia's forces just lead to rapid their illimination as well as demonstrates domination of Ukraine's forces on the battlefield.
