Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces have established control over a key section of the Melitopol–Chonhar corridor, one of russia’s main land supply routes to occupied Crimea, significantly complicating the movement of fuel, ammunition, and military equipment to the peninsula

Drone operators of the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces have established control over part of the Melitopol–Chonhar land corridor, one of russia's key supply routes to occupied Crimea.

The unit announced the development itself.

According to the regiment, its drone operators are systematically destroying russian military equipment and disrupting logistics along the route. The strikes have already complicated the delivery of military supplies and fuel to the peninsula. The unit emphasized that this is only the beginning and that operations in the area will continue.

The Melitopol–Chonhar corridor is one of the most important overland supply routes linking russian forces in occupied southern Ukraine with Crimea. Bringing part of this route under persistent drone surveillance and strike coverage significantly limits russia's ability to move equipment, ammunition, fuel, and other resources to the peninsula.

As Defense Express previously reported, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces established fire control over the occupied Donetsk Airport in an asymmetric operation that affected russian capabilities on several levels and significantly reduced the enemy's freedom of action in that area.

According to Ukraine's 1st Separate UAS Center, that operation disrupted russian logistics, complicated air-defense operations, and hindered the use of the airfield for launching Shahed-type drones, making the strategically important facility substantially less useful for russian military operations.
