Ukrainian border guards operating drones with the Strazh unit of the Pomsta Brigade have destroyed russian Giatsint-B 152 mm towed howitzer on the Lyman axis, continuing efforts to suppress enemy artillery supporting frontline operations.
Footage released by the unit shows the results of another reconnaissance-and-strike mission targeting russian positions hidden in tree lines and wooded areas. Such locations are commonly used by russian forces to conceal artillery and support equipment from aerial surveillance.

The primary target of the operation was the Giatsint-B 152 mm howitzer, one of the russian military's long-range artillery systems capable of engaging targets at significant distances. Eliminating such weapons helps reduce the threat of artillery strikes against Ukrainian troops and rear-area positions.
Drone operators successfully located the gun despite its concealed position and directed a strike that resulted in its destruction. The operation highlights the increasing role of unmanned systems in counter-battery warfare, where drones are used to find and neutralize enemy artillery before it can influence combat operations.
In addition to the howitzer, Ukrainian operators targeted several other assets supporting russian forces in the sector. Among the damaged or destroyed equipment were motorcycles used for battlefield mobility, communications equipment, and a generator unit.
As Defense Express previously reported, operators of the Perun Battalion located and struck a concealed russian BM-21 Grad MLRS, triggering a massive secondary explosion that demolished the hangar and nearby structures.
