The elite unit of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence continues its campaign to dismantle russian air defense systems, scoring another precision victory

Over the past two weeks, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Prymary special unit has intensified its targeted campaign against russian air defense systems operating in temporarily occupied Donbas. Their latest operations resulted in the confirmed destruction of two russian 48Ya6-K1 Podlet low-altitude radar stations and the 9A82 launcher from the S-300V surface-to-air missile system.

These strikes demonstrate the unit's growing precision and consistency in neutralizing enemy radar assets that form the backbone of russia's layered air defense network. The Podlet radar plays a crucial role in detecting low-flying targets, including cruise missiles and drones, making it a high-value asset in the russian military's surveillance chain. Its loss significantly limits the occupiers' ability to respond to incoming Ukrainian aerial threats.

Equally significant is the elimination of the 9A82 launcher, part of the S-300V system, one of russia's key long-range air defense systems designed to intercept aircraft and ballistic missiles. The destruction of such equipment not only undermines the tactical coverage of russian forces but also delivers a symbolic blow to Moscow's claim of maintaining full control over occupied airspace.

The Prymary unit operators are known for their mastery of reconnaissance and long-range strike coordination, often operating deep behind enemy lines with a blend of high-tech drones and creative battlefield tactics. Their actions form part of a broader Ukrainian strategy to systematically degrade russian air defense capabilities ahead of future offensive operations.

As Defense Express previously reported, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine continues its campaign of targeted strikes against russian radar and air defense infrastructure in temporarily occupied Crimea. Operators from the Prymary special unit have once again demonstrated exceptional skill and precision, evading enemy air defenses to destroy several high-value targets.

In their latest operation, Ukrainian drones successfully hit a series of critical radar installations that form part of russia's layered air defense network on the peninsula. The list of destroyed assets includes the 96L6 radar associated with the S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system, the P-18 Terek early-warning radar, and the 55Zh6U Nebo-U radar – all crucial elements of russian long-range detection and tracking capabilities.
