The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of September 5, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine attacked the Ryazan oil refinery.
Drones struck the ELOU-AVT-6 crude oil distillation unit, which alone can process up to six million tons of oil per year.

This refinery is considered one of the largest in russia. The facility's total design capacity exceeds 17 million tons. It produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation fuel, and supplies the russian army.
At the same time, the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine struck two divisions of the S-400 Triumf air defense missile system in the Kaluga region. Damage to the command vehicle and the command post has been confirmed.
In addition, the Security Service of Ukraine attacked a depot storing engineering ammunition and drones in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. A powerful explosion occurred at the facility, followed by a fire.
Ukrainian military leadership says these operations aim to undermine russia's military and economic potential, depriving its army of fuel and ammunition and forcing it to halt its aggression against Ukraine.
Earlier, Defense Express reported that Ukrainian forces had hit key russian air defense assets in Crimea.
