On Saturday, September 6, Ukrainian forces successfully liberated Zarichne – rural settlement in Kramatorsk raionof Donetsk region, pushing russian occupiers out and raising the national flag over the local school and church.
The operation was carried out by the 425th Separate Assault Regiment Skelia in coordination with drone units from the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was stated on the air of the United News telethon by Stanislav, call sign "Orel" (Eagle in Ukrainian), chief of staff of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment.

According to "Orel", Ukrainian soldiers used tactics of small, mobile groups to quietly infiltrate the settlement, advancing on motorcycles and quad bikes. "By the time the enemy realized we were inside the village, more than half of Zarichne had already been freed," he explained.
The fighting was intense but swift. Ukrainian forces eliminated 47 Russian soldiers and captured 13 more. "Orel" emphasized that the captured troops were poorly trained and had little motivation to fight. The most experienced of them had been trained for just two weeks. Another one was prepared for only three days before being sent to the front.
One prisoner was even a Ukrainian who had gone to russia to work, was later imprisoned there, and then forced to join the war. Most of them run, surrender, or throw away their weapons when they meet Ukrainian soldiers.
The regiments drone operators, along with UAV pilots from the 63rd Mechanized Brigade, played a decisive role in the operation. Drones struck russian positions, forcing occupiers to retreat, after which assault groups advanced building by building to clear the settlement.
