The Department of Active Operations of the Defense Intelligence carried out a precision attack on two high-value components of the enemy's radar systems, significantly reducing the occupiers' surveillance and air defense capabilities.
According to the official report, the operation was conducted by the unmanned systems unit. The crew executed pinpoint strikes on two costly and strategically important targets that form the backbone of russia's integrated air defense structure.

The first target was the 48Ya6-K1 Podlet radar station. This radar provides 360-degree surveillance and is specifically designed to detect aerial threats at low and extremely low altitudes. Its role is crucial as it supplies targeting data for advanced surface-to-air missile systems such as the S-300 and S-400, which russia relies on to protect its temporarily occupied territories.
The second destroyed target was the RLM-M radar, a key component of the 55Zh6M Nebo-M multifunctional mobile radar system. The Nebo-M system is capable of detecting both aerodynamic and ballistic objects at medium and high altitudes, serving as part of russia's layered air defense shield.
Strikingly, the operatives managed to destroy the RLM-M radar module while it was on the move. Russian forces had abandoned their combat duty position and attempted to relocate the equipment, only to be hit during the maneuver. This fact highlights not only the accuracy of Ukraine's drone operators but also the vulnerability of russian forces even during repositioning.
The elimination of these systems represents a significant tactical gain. With the loss of the Podlet and Nebo-M radars, russian air defense in the affected sector is likely to suffer from reduced early-warning and targeting capabilities, leaving critical assets and units more exposed to Ukrainian strikes.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian skies remain a contested battlefield, where russian reconnaissance and strike drones pose constant threats to both military personnel and civilians. To counter this danger, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine relies on specialized units equipped with advanced interception systems. One such formation, the Kryla unit, has demonstrated remarkable efficiency in recent operations.
A new video released by the Defense Intelligence highlights the successful combat work of the Kryla specialists, who are tasked with detecting and destroying hostile unmanned aerial vehicles.
