On Monday, September 8, a series of explosions in the russian city of Penza disabled a single system of main oil pipelines
This was reported by Ukrainian media with reference to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU).

According to sources in the DIU, at least four explosions occurred in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza at about 4 a.m. As a result, two main gas pipeline pipes with a throughput capacity of 2 mln. barrels per day stopped functioning.

In addition, according to a source in Ukrainian defense intelligence, two more regional gas pipeline pipes were damaged at the same location.
A few hours after the explosions, in order to hide the true causes of the emergency, information appeared in the local media about the alleged "planned exercises" at oil and gas facilities together with emergency and special services. The occupiers called on local residents to remain calm and not to react to information about the explosions in local public forums.
It is noted that both affected gas pipelines provided the activities of russian military facilities involved in the full-scale aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.
