Occupiers unpacked their T-55 tanks last year and are deploying them on the battlefield for various missions

The official channel of the 3rd Brigade of Operational Assignment Spartan of the National Guard of Ukraine has released a video showing how FPV drone operators thwarted the plans of the russians who, on tanks, attempted to shell the positions of Ukrainian military.

"In one successful day, National Guardsmen destroyed enemy T-72 and T-55 tanks," noted the brigade.

In the video, an FPV drone is seen striking the russian T-55 main battle tank, which is equipped with "barbecue" (makeshift armor).

It should be noted that the deconservation of their T-55/T-54 tanks by the occupiers began at the beginning of last year.

At the same time, according to Oryx data, the loss of over 2,700 tanks by russian occupying forces has been visually confirmed, with 542 of them captured as trophies by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The fascists primarily use their T-54/T-55 and T-62 tanks not for direct frontal assaults but as improvised self-propelled artillery for firing from concealed positions or, for example, as "assault guns" for providing fire support to infantry.

Furthermore, it has been observed that these tanks are being used by the occupiers with dubious results as kamikaze vehicles. russians load tanks with explosives, lock the gas pedal, and direct them towards the positions of Ukrainian forces. At the same time, such tanks are successfully and effectively destroyed by FPV drones.
