Ukrainian forces have reported a successful strike against russian artillery assets on the Lyman axis, highlighting the continued focus on degrading enemy firepower in one of the most contested sectors of the front. According to the Signum battalion, operators identified and engaged multiple high-value targets, including rocket artillery and armored vehicles.
The strike resulted in the destruction of three BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems, a key component of russian indirect fire capabilities. These systems are widely used to deliver saturation bombardments, often targeting both military positions and rear areas to disrupt logistics and troop movements.

Notably, the reported losses amount to roughly half of an enemy artillery battery, indicating not just a tactical success but a potentially meaningful disruption to localized russian fire support. The ability to detect and strike several systems in quick succession suggests effective reconnaissance and coordination, likely involving drone surveillance and precision strike assets.
In addition to the artillery systems, Ukrainian forces also destroyed russian tank during the same operation. While details about the specific model were not disclosed, the elimination of armored support further compounds the operational setback for russian units in the area.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian drone operators have struck a significant blow to russia's air defense network, destroying russian Pantsir air defense system along with its crew deep in the rear.
