Units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continue to carry out combat missions in the northern part of Kharkiv region. Their efforts are focused on countering russian military activity near the town of Vovchansk.
According to the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group, russian forces are attempting to consolidate positions and build fortifications in this sector. However, Ukrainian troops, particularly the Hart Brigade, are actively preventing these efforts.

Aerial reconnaissance plays a key role in detecting russian movements. Ukrainian drones are monitoring both engineering activity, whether by machinery or manual labor, and the delivery of weapons to frontline positions.
The Skorpion unit, equipped with drones and mortars, has conducted several strikes targeting russian logistics and support elements. Recent engagements resulted in hits on an excavator, the MT-12 Rapira anti-tank gun with its towing armored vehicle, and a depot of engineering equipment.
Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed a vehicle used to transport russian personnel. These actions led to the reported death of six russian servicemen.
The strikes suggest a focus on disrupting russian fortification and supply lines rather than direct engagement. Precision targeting of logistics assets remains a key component of Ukraine’s current defense tactics in the region.
As Defense Express previously reported, operators of the Phoenix border guard unit have carried out a successful series of strikes targeting russian military equipment, according to an official report from the Unmanned Systems Forces. The operation reportedly resulted in the destruction of several high-value enemy assets, including tanks, the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, and two types of specialized equipment: rare radar station and robotic ground vehicle.
