The Archer self-propelled howitzer system, recently supplied by Sweden to Ukraine, is known for its high level of automation and shooting range

The Archer self-propelled howitzers are already operational in the eastern part of Ukraine, as reported by the Joint Forces Task Force on Facebook.

The military demonstrated firing from the Swedish self-propelled howitzer system. It was also indicated that the vehicles are operating against the enemy in the Donetsk region.

"Ukrainian artillery units are engaging in combat operations against Russian forces using the Archer self-propelled howitzer system," as stated in the post.

The Archer, the self-propelled howitzer system developed by Sweden. It is equipped with a 155 mm cannon and can accommodate either a 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm machine gun. The Archer is capable of Multiple-Round Simultaneous Impact (MRSI) firing. It launches up to 6 shells in 30 seconds. This self-propelled howitzer has onboard ammunition supply of 20 rounds.

As Defense Express reported, on November 3, the Ground Forces Command showcased the operation of the Archer system for the first time.

About 100 Ukrainian soldiers have been trained to use the Archer, as stated by Stephan Sjöberg, commander of the Swedish Boden Artillery Regiment (A8), in an interview with SVT in November.
