Explosives experts in Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine, have uncovered an almost intact Shahed drone launched by the russian military targeting civilian objects. The incident occurred during one of the recent russian attacks when the air defense forces managed to land an attack drone, which subsequently crashed in a wasteland near a settlement. Remarkably, despite the crash, the drone remained largely intact, presenting a rare opportunity for detailed examination and analysis.
According to the explosives experts involved in the operation, the preservation of the drone’s components, including the undetonated warhead, is a significant success for research purposes. Speaking on the matter, they stated, “The warhead did not detonate, and all the units are in place. The next stage is to carefully remove the warhead and destroy it. Additionally, the drone itself will be disassembled and examined by specialists.”
