Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces continue targeting russia's shadow fleet, with a newly released video showing Ukrainian drone striking russian tanker while russian helicopter attempted to protect the vessel.
The footage was published on Saturday, September 12, by Major Robert Madyar Brovdi, Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces. It shows Ukrainian UAV approaching russian tanker that had already sustained several hits.

At the same time, russian helicopter was operating near the vessel, apparently attempting to intercept and destroy the Ukrainian drone before it could complete its attack. The helicopter pursued the UAV and opened fire with a machine gun.
Ukrainian drone operator managed to evade the incoming fire while continuing toward the tanker. Despite the helicopter's attempts to stop it, the UAV remained on course and eventually reached the vessel.
The drone then struck the tanker directly in the area of the ship's wheelhouse. The impact occurred virtually under the nose of russian helicopter, which had been attempting to prevent the attack.
