Ukrainian Armor, part of NAUDI, claims it can respond very quickly to military needs and implement changes. It takes only approximately one month, or just 30 days, to develop a new modification of the Novator armored vehicle.
This is the timeframe needed to conduct work, testing, and preparation for the codification process, according to Liga.net. This became possible thanks to expanding developer teams and simplifying procedures by the Ministry of Defense.

It is also emphasized that the reliability of the Novator base platform contributes to this. Overall, this approach is positioned as a serious advantage over foreign companies, whose processes are much slower.
Defense Express notes that the domestic defense industry has indeed learned to respond very quickly to Defense Forces needs and changing battlefield situations. Although this is more actively manifested in the production of drones, communication systems, and electronic warfare or reconnaissance equipment, such capabilities are evident in all directions.

Considering that Ukraine is opening weapons exports, this could become a significant factor in competition with foreign companies. The latter often have quite long change implementation cycles.
It is worth noting that recently, defense industry representatives from various countries have begun working on accelerating processes, including through iterative development. However, they do not have the same direct access to usage experience and feedback from military personnel as Ukrainian enterprises have.

Regarding Novators, they have been mass-produced since 2018 and have received upgrades and improvements during their use in the Defense Forces. During the full-scale russia-Ukraine war, they have evolved into a full-fledged platform on which other modifications have been developed, such as the transport Novator-2, medical Novator 2S, command, and pyrotechnic vehicles.
Ukrainian Armor recently stated that the Ministry of Defense currently purchases only domestic armored vehicle models without involving imports. At the same time, the company also produces its own Protector anti-drone rifle and strike drones based on mortar ammunition.
