The video, published on the Air Force's official Facebook page, captures the work of air defense units countering missiles and drones during the attack.
According to the Air Force, between 19:00 on February 21 and the morning of February 22, russian forces carried out a massive combined strike targeting critical infrastructure facilities across Ukraine.

The enemy used attack UAVs as well as air- and ground-launched missiles. In total, radio-technical troops of the Air Force detected 345 aerial targets, including:
- 4 Zircon anti-ship missiles launched from occupied Crimea;
- 22 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles launched from russia's Bryansk and Belgorod regions, as well as temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk region;
- 18 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from russia's Vologda region;
- 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles from Kursk region;
- 4 Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles from Kursk region;
297 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other drones launched from Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and occupied Crimea. About 200 of them were Shahed drones.
The main directions of the strike were Kyiv, Odesa, Kirovohrad, and Poltava regions.
The air assault was repelled by fighter aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.


As of 10:00 a.m., preliminary data indicate that 307 aerial targets were destroyed or suppressed, including 33 missiles and 274 drones of various types. Specifically intercepted:
- 2 Zircon anti-ship missiles;
- 8 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles;
- 17 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 4 Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles;
- 274 enemy UAVs.

At the same time, hits by 14 missiles and 23 strike UAVs were recorded at 14 locations. Additionally, debris from downed drones fell at five locations.
It was also reported that russia struck another American-owned enterprise in Ukraine — a civilian production facility of Mondelez International in the city of Trostianets.
