On February 21, warriors from the 1st Center of Unmanned Systems Forces, coordinated by the middle strike command center of the, destroyed a Tornado-S MLRS at a combat position in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region.
The Tornado-S was hit at its combat position while russian forces were shelling Ukrainian territory.

According to commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Major Robert Brovdi, russian troops are using these systems to shell Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson, Nikopol, and other cities in Ukraine.
"The most powerful and destructive weapon among multiple launch rocket systems is the 300 mm Smerch. Smaller-caliber systems in this series include the Grad (122 mm) and Uragan (220 mm)," the statement reads.
It is noted that Tornado-S, or Smerch-S, is a modernized high-precision multiple launch rocket system with a range of up to 120 km. It uses various types of high-precision rockets.
