"We need to equip mobile fire groups to hold the lower echelon and secure additional resources from our partners — including the United Kingdom, Germany, and other countries that that support Ukraine and announce new aid packages within the framework of the Ramstein format and other meetings."

As Yurii Ihnat noted, the President of Ukraine calls for increasing assistance, particularly in the form of air defense aid.
"Both short and long range air defense systems are essential. Ballistic missiles can only be intercepted by systems such as the Patriot, as demonstrated by the downing of Kinzhal missiles. Other systems such as NASAMS and IRIS-T are also needed. This is necessary to deter russian aviation and to shoot down enemy cruise missiles and other targets," Yuriy Ignat emphasized.

In addition, innovative methods are also being developed.
"The same applies to air defense drones, the so-called anti-aircraft drones. We need to train crews and scale up production. All elements of the air defense are working on it. They have started working with reconnaissance UAVs on the front line. We need to expand it to rear cities too, in order to use weapons more efficiently against enemy drones," Ihnat explained.
Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian MiG-29 had destroyed russian ammo depot with AASM Hammer bomb.
