Ukraine Hits Key Fuel Infrastructure, Navy Arsenal, Baltic Fleet Facilities Near St. Petersburg (Video)

Fuel terminals near St. Petersburg stored up to 40,000 cubic meters of petroleum products and played an important role in supplying russia's military

Ukraine's Defense Forces struck multiple strategic targets in russia's Leningrad region during the night of June 6, including fuel infrastructure, a naval weapons arsenal, and facilities linked to russia's Baltic Fleet.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian forces targeted the Petergofskaya oil depot in the city of Lomonosov. The strike reportedly caused an explosion followed by a fire at the facility.

Another target was the Neste oil terminal, also located in Lomonosov. A fire was reported in the terminal area, while the full extent of the damage remains under assessment.

According to the General Staff, the terminal serves as a major distribution hub for gasoline and diesel fuel in northwestern russia and has a storage capacity of approximately 40,000 cubic meters of petroleum products.

Ukrainian forces also struck a russian command-and-observation post near Malinovka in russia's Belgorod region and a logistics warehouse near Karaichne in occupied Luhansk region.

Additional strikes targeted concentrations of russian troops near Pokrovsk and Rodynske in Donetsk region, Petropavlivka in Kharkiv region, and Tyotkino and Anatolyevka in russia's Kursk region.

Separately, reports emerged that Ukrainian forces successfully struck an arsenal belonging to the 1060th Logistics Support Center in the settlement of Bolshaya Izhora, Leningrad region. The facility stores missile weapons, ammunition, and military equipment. Videos circulating online showed explosions, secondary detonations, and a fire at the site.

At the same time, reports indicated that drones operated by Ukraine's Special Operations Forces struck the Kronstadt naval base of russia's Baltic Fleet near St. Petersburg during the night of June 6. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the drones traveled nearly 1,000 kilometers to reach the St. Petersburg area.

Later, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) disclosed additional details of a joint operation conducted together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and military intelligence. According to the agency, the operation also targeted the 15th Arsenal of the russian Navy in Leningrad region and the Ust-Labinsk oil depot in russia's Krasnodar region.
