Ukraine's General Staff Confirms Successful Strikes on Two Key russian Military Arsenals

The Defence Forces of Ukraine struck powerful blows to two key russian military arsenals, significantly weakening the enemy logistics system

According to the official statement of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of September 21, the arsenal of artillery ammunition in Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Krai in russia was attacked. It is known to be one of the three largest ammunition depots of russian occupiers.

According to available information, at the time of the strike, a troop train was at the site, delivering at least 2,000 tonnes of ammunition, some of which was likely produced by North Korea. The Podlet K1 radar that was used to detect air targets in the direction of the arsenal, was also destroyed.

The second target was the 23rd Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation, located near the village of Oktyabrsky in Tver Oblast. This strike was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine.

As a result of the successful attacks, large-scale fires and ammunition detonations were recorded at both sites. The operation was carried out due to the coordinated interaction of various units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine, including the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, etc.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasises that combat operations against important military targets of russian occupiers continue, demonstrating Ukraine's ability to deliver precision strikes against strategic enemy targets deep in its territory.

As Defense Express reported Ukraine might target 7 more military depots as russia holds 20 similar arsenals like those in the Tver region.
