The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially announced the operation, confirming information that had previously appeared on both russian and Ukrainian social media
The target was a production facility for manufacturing drones in the city of Yelabuga, located in the Republic of Tatarstan, russia.

According to the General Staff, the attacked facility was actively used by the occupiers to manufacture, test, and launch attack unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Ukrainian military emphasized that the main goal of the strike was to reduce the enemy's ability to produce kamikaze drones and other drones that pose a threat to the civilian population.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that the drones reached the target area and that the results of the operation are currently being clarified. At the same time, The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to take all possible measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the russian occupiers and to compel russia to end its armed aggression against Ukraine.
