RAF Regiment gunners operating downed multiple Iranian drones overnight, as UK air assets continued wide-ranging defensive missions across the Middle East

RAF Regiment gunners, operating in a high-threat area, successfully downed multiple Iranian drones overnight, the UK Ministry of Defence reports.

The Defense Secretary John Healey MP is in the Middle East for engagements with Gulf partners this week.

UK Typhoon and F-35 jets together with Wildcat helicopters, have continued their defensive missions overnight, including over Cyprus, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE. UK pilots and aircrew have now exceeded 1,200 flying hours during operations since the conflict began.

As Defense Express previously reported, RAF Typhoons and F-35 jets, Royal Navy warships and helicopters, and British Army air defense units are operating as a single network, with HMS Dragon now fully integrated and counter-drone teams downing seven attack UAVs overnight.
