The United States has started using British bases for specific defensive operations to prevent Iran firing missiles into the region, which is putting British lives at risk, UK Defense Intelligence reports.
RAF Typhoon and F-35 jets have continued air operations over Jordan, Qatar, and Cyprus and the wider region in defense of British interests and allies.

A Merlin helicopter is on the way to the region, providing additional airborne surveillance and further reinforcing our defensive capabilities that were pre-deployed earlier in the year.
As Defense Express previously reported, UK Wildcat helicopters equipped with Martlet missiles capable of countering drones have begun arriving in Cyprus as RAF F-35 and Typhoon jets conduct defensive patrols across the region.

Defense Express also reported, the United Kingdom is reinforcing regional defenses by deploying four additional Typhoon fighter jets to Qatar while British counter-drone units intercept drones targeting coalition forces.
