The UK will rapidly deploy four additional Typhoon jets to Qatar to support regional defensive operations, the UK Defense Intelligence reports.
Overnight, a British Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems unit took down further drones in Iraqi airspace that were heading towards Coalition forces.

The Defense Secretary has met with the Cypriot Defense Minister to discuss how the UK is reinforcing air defenses. Defense Ministers are also engaging with Gulf Cooperation Council ambassadors. The UK Defense Senior Advisor to the Middle East is meeting partners across the region to discuss further UK defensive support.

RAF F-35B and Typhoon fighter jets, supported by Voyager air-to-air refuelling, flew further defensive sorties overnight, including over Qatar and Jordan.
Across the UK's bases in Cyprus, 400 additional UK personnel are supporting air defense activities.
British counter-drone specialists who have worked closely with Ukrainian experts have deployed to the region to work with partners on counter-drone and defensive capabilities.
As Defense Express previously reported, overnight, RAF Typhoon and F-35B jets continued defensive air operations across the Middle East with support from Voyager air-to-air refuelling in defense of British interests and allies.
