Royal Navy Wildcat helicopters have begun arriving in Cyprus, equipped with Martlet missiles capable of countering unmanned aerial systems, including one-way attack drones, UK Defense Intelligence reports.
Four additional Typhoon aircraft are scheduled to arrive in Qatar overnight, further strengthening our defensive capabilities in the region.

Last night, UK F-35 and Typhoon aircraft, supported by Voyager air-to-air refuelling aircraft, conducted defensive air patrols over Qatar, Jordan and the Eastern Mediterranean.
As Defense Express previously reported, the UK will rapidly deploy four additional Typhoon jets to Qatar to support regional defensive operations.
Overnight, a British Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems unit took down further drones in Iraqi airspace that were heading towards Coalition forces.
