Overnight, RAF Typhoon and F-35B jets continued defensive air operations across the Middle East with support from Voyager air-to-air refuelling in defense of British interests and allies, according to the UK Defense Intelligence.
The Ministry of Defense can confirm that Shahed-like drone which targeted RAF Akrotiri at midnight on March2 was not launched from Iran.

In the last 24 hours, the UK has resupplied air defense systems to British and allied bases across the region, including UK-built air defense missiles.
Royal Navy Wildcat helicopters, armed with Martlet missiles capable of taking out aerial threats, will arrive in Cyprus in the coming days.
As Defense Express previously reported, RAF F-35B jets operating over Jordanian airspace shot down unmanned aerial systems in defense of Jordan. This marks the first time RAF F-35 jets has shot down a target on operations.
The aircraft was supported by RAF Typhoon jets and Voyager air-to-air refuelling aircraft as part of our defensive operation to protect British interests and allies.
