RAF F-35B jets operating over Jordanian airspace shot down unmanned aerial systems in defense of Jordan. This marks the first time RAF F-35 jets has shot down a target on operations. The aircraft was supported by RAF Typhoon jets and Voyager air-to-air refuelling aircraft as part of our defensive operation to protect British interests and allies, according to UK Defense Intelligence.
A British Armed Forces Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems team successfully took down drones in Iraqi airspace that were heading towards Coalition forces. The action was taken in defense of British personnel and allies operating in the area.

On Monday, RAF Typhoon jet shot down an Iranian one-way attack drone directed at Qatar. The aircraft was operating in the region as part of 12 Squadron, the joint UK-Qatar squadron.
As Defense Express previously reported, at the onset of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, russia perceived its Black Sea Fleet as a prestigious, strategic, and historic symbol of its military power.
However, four years of non-conventional, asymmetric focused Ukrainian resistance have left the Black Sea Fleet geographically constrained, with substantial materiel losses and a damaged reputation.
