RAF Typhoon and F-35B jets have continued defensive air operations over Jordan, Qatar and the UAE, with support from Voyager air-to-air refuelling in defense of British interests and allies, UK Defense Intelligence reports.
British pilots have now racked up more than 300 operational flying hours and shot down multiple drones in defense of our allies and partners.

Overnight, a British Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems unit also took down two drones in the region that were threatening lives on the ground.
Today, the Defense Secretary visited and thanked personnel at the UK's Permanent Joint Headquarters, the operational center responsible for coordinating British defensive missions across the Gulf.
Based at Northwood, PJHQ is staffed by more than 500 personnel, working around the clock to support British operations.
As Defense Express previously reported, RAF Typhoon and F-35 fighters continue defensive air operations alongside allies to protect the Sovereign Base Areas, Jordan, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, while the Type 45 HMS Dragon destroyer sails to the Eastern Mediterranean.
