"We support Ukraine and are working to help improve the country’s coastal defense. As part of this effort, we are providing Ukraine with unmanned coastal defense vessels. We are also working with allies and partners to provide Ukraine with anti-ship systems and missiles to them", said the White House official.
“We are constantly talking to Ukraine’s party about their needs every day", the official added, Voice of America reports.

He added that the United States is the largest provider of defense assistance to Ukraine and “will continue to be a world leader in providing the largest security assistance to Ukraine in history”.

Despite Russia outgunning Ukraine in military equipment and personnel, Ukrainian defenders have managed to win battles in Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions and continue to bravely hold the line in Donbas. However, the situation there is very difficult.
To defend itself and gain its territories back, Ukraine urgently needs multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and more 155-mm artillery systems.
Claims that the weapons provided to Ukraine by the West may end up in the wrong hands are groundless. Ukraine has a well-functioning government fully committed to all international regimes of arms control. We have never been accused of violating any of them.
