The Ukrainian military of the 3rd Assault Brigade has been effectively using Western anti-tank guided missile systems to eliminate russian tanks

The NLAW and Javelin anti-tank missile systems became crucial weapons for the Ukrainian Defense Forces at the onset of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, particularly against russian armored vehicles, including enemy tanks.

Today, these anti-tank missile systems remain an effective means to neutralize russian tanks and other weaponry. The soldiers from the 3rd company of the anti-tank battalion of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrate accurate shots from these weapons.

The russian T-80 tank was destroyed on the outskirts of Bachmut, where intense battles are currently taking place against russian occupation forces.

Commenting on the successful elimination of the enemy tank, the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are advancing on the Bachmut direction and reclaiming previously occupied territories.

Despite the enemy's numerical and technological superiority, the Ukrainian military continues to maintain the initiative in this area. As noted by the spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Serhiy Cherevaty, over the past day, July 6, Ukrainian forces have advanced more than 1 km.

As previously reported by the spokesperson of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksiy Hromov, fierce battles against russian occupation forces are ongoing along a front line stretching over 1200 km. The Ukrainian Defense Forces have achieved significant progress on the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, with advances reaching up to 7.5 km into enemy territory.
