On Thursday, August 1, the second Ada-class corvette Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi that is being built for Ukraine, was launched at the STM shipyard in Istanbul.
This was reported by Turkish sources that showed several photos from the scene. Apparently, for the sake of security, the event was not announced due to the presence of the Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and Commander of the Naval Forces Oleksiy Neizhpapa.

It should be noted that the corvette was laid down on August 18, 2023. Thus, it took Turkish shipbuilders a little less than a year to launch the corvette. But Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi will be built afloat for some time.
It is known that the first such corvette Hetman Ivan Mazepa was laid down in September 2021. It was launched on October 2, 2023, as well as was tested on May 29, 2024.
As of early July, Ukraine's first Ada-class corvette was still undergoing testing and had not yet received anti-ship missiles. Ukraine has ordered two Ada-class corvettes under a modified design with enhanced air defense and radio engineering equipment.

Currently, the timeline for the completion of all work on the Hetman Ivan Mazepa corvette, let alone its official commissioning into the Ukrainian Navy, is not disclosed. Of course, they are not known for the Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi corvette either.
Earlier Defense Express reported that russia had built two Tarantul-class missile boats out of rusty parts.
