russia continues to brandish weapons in front of the US, and after demonstratively sending two of its newest ships, the frigate Admiral Gorshkov, which carries Zircon missiles, and the nuclear submarine Kazan to Cuba in June, the Kremlin has dispatched another group of ships.
This again became known thanks to a statement from the Cuban Ministry of Defense, not through a message from moscow.

"Vessels from russia's Baltic Fleet arrive in Havana and will include the training ship Smolny, the frigate Neustrashimy, and the oil tanker Yelnya. Warships from russia’s Baltic Fleet will make a port visit to Havana from July 27-30," the statement reads.
In the message by the specialized publication Defensa, it is also mentioned that the russian vessels may subsequently visit Venezuela, Nicaragua, and other countries in Latin America friendly to russia.
At the same time, Defense Express notes that, given the deployed vessels, the weapons with which they are intimidating the U.S. have already corroded and rusted.
Note that the frigate Neustrashimy has no anti-ship missiles at all. It is equipped only with a 100-mm artillery system and anti-submarine warfare tools, including RPK-6M Vodopad-NK, RBU-6000, and torpedo tubes.
