The russian Moscow region was hit by an airstrike on Sunday night, November 23. This was reported by local publics.
It is noted that the Shatura State District Power Plant was hit.

“Shatura, Moscow region. Locals say the Shaturskaya State District Power Plant was attacked and is on fire,” one of the reports says.
It is indicated that “locals are reporting at least two explosions.” The pro-Ukrainian Telegtam channel Exilenova+ published a video and photos of the fire.
It is also reported that Zhukovsky airport has suspended operations.
The regional Ministry of Emergency Situations specified that three transformers caught fire there at once. In order to extinguish the fire, 137 specialists and 49 pieces of equipment were sent there, russia's propaganda newspaper Kommersant reports.
Instead, the russian Ministry of Aggression reported the shooting down of 75 unknown drones over russian regions, including 2 over the Moscow region.
The Shaturskaya State District Power Plant named after V. I. Lenin is one of the oldest power plants in russia. It was built in 1925. Initially, this power plant operated on peat, now the main type of fuel is natural gas.

The installed electrical capacity is 1,500 MW. The plant participates in providing electricity and heat for the Moscow region.
In response to russian terrorist attacks on civilian infrastructure, Ukraine resorted to a symmetrical response, focusing on striking russian military enterprises, as well as facilities that ensure russia's ability to produce weaponry as well as to continue the war against Ukraine.
