russian Tunguska and Pantsir-S1 Air Defense Systems Helpless Against Ukrainian UAVs and Artillery (Video)

Both systems were spotted by a reconnaissance drone, and an artillery follow-up was prompt

Press center of the Ukrainian 45th Artillery Brigade showcases another episode of russian air defenses being incapable to deal with unmanned aerial threats.

The video below shows Luftwaffe aerial reconnaissance unit of the 129th Territorial Defense Forces finding several anti-aircraft artillery systems – a 2S6 Tunguska and a Pantsir-S1 – with a Leleka UAV.

The coordinates were sent to artillery squads, and soon enough both russian systems were destroyed. Given the accuracy of shots, it could be a high-precision M982 Excalibur munition used.

In fact, this is not the first time Ukrainian UAV operators have "hunted down" russian airspace control weapons designed to counter such low-altitude threats. For example, we can also recall several times a Bayraktar TB2 attack drone destroyed russian Tor missile systems.

Another issue is that russian EW systems and "jamming guns" cannot catch Ukrainian UAVs that continue to drop explosives putting them out of order.

As for Ukrainian artillery, we can also see a tendency of increasing use of high-precision shells lately. In this regard, we can recall the efficient elimination of the same but another russian Tor SAM which likely took a single shot.

At the same time, we can see HIMARS being used for counter-battery combat more often as well which might indicate there is no critical deficit of various high-precision weapons in Ukraine right now.
