Bayraktar TB2 UAV reminds again that it not only sees the enemy fifty kilometers away, but also independently reduce its quantity

The Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen actively use the Bayraktar TB2 reconnaissance-strike drone as a combat platform.

Several recent videos show the operation of Ukraine’s UAVs on the equipment of the russian army.

In particular, the destruction of russia’s BMD-2 airborne infantry fighting vehicle at the positions of russian paratroopers in the Kherson region, as noted by Ukraine Weapons Tracker.

In another episode the destruction of two Tor air defense systems of the russian army along with another vehicle was recorded. Regarding the Tors SAM, Ukraine Weapons Tracker conducted a rather thorough analysis, therefore, with a high degree of probability, these are exactly Tor surface-to-air complexes.

The fact of the air defense system destruction with capabilities to easily destroy the Bayraktar TB2, is quite indicative. But the fact is that the Tor systems were not in a firing position, but were hidden between trees. The situation is similar to the Tor destruction, which was located on the already liberated Snake Island.

One of the reasons why russians hid two air defense systems at once may be the active use of AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles by the Ukrainian Air Force. In this situation, russia’s air defense forces can no longer afford to keep the complexes in the position in an activated state on a permanent basis and forced to switch to the "ambush" mode on command.

Another option is lack of fuel. Taking into account that, according to various estimates, russia maintains from 20 to 30 thousand people and dozens of battalion tactical groups, each of which consumes on average 70.8 tons of fuel per day of active operations. Supplying fuel and lubricant materials is complicated due to destroyed bridges and pontoon crossings.

Defense Express doesn’t state that russians don’t have fuel at all, but problems with its distribution may already appear.
