During the past day, 166 units of military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces were located in the temporarily occupied territory – according to the JFO

Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation press center informs, that 166 units of military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces were spotted in the temporarily occupied territories of Eastern Ukraine, the Donbas.

The message comes through a few days after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his army to enter the Russia-backed regions of Ukraine's Donbas.

According to the statement, Ukrainian Forces spotted, in particular, a total of 5 units of military equipment were located in the operational area of the so-called 1st Army Corps: 3 towed howitzers near Donetsk city, 2 ACVs (Amphibious Combat Vehicles) in Starobesheve settlement (32 km from the line of contact).

Also, a total of 161 units of military equipment were located in the operational area of the so-called 2nd Army Corps. Storage equipment: towed howitzers, self-propelled howitzers, tanks, towed artillery, towed mortar. Military presence in areas: 112 units of ACVs, MT-LB light armored multipurpose vehicles.

Since the beginning of the week, a total of 300 units of military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces have been spotted, noted in the JFO press center.

Defense Express memo: the so-called 1st and 2nd Army Corps are illegal formations of Russian Armed Forces in temporarily occupied territories of Donbas, Eastern Ukraine.

As Defense Express previously reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his Defense Ministry to start a "peacekeeping" operation in the Russia-controlled territories of Donbas. The next day he asked the government the allow him to use the Russian military outside of the country, the request was satisfied shortly. This permit legally allows the president to start an invasion of Ukraine. The US and the UK leaders said the invasion had already begun.
