The drone can reportedly carry 10 times more explosives than the FPV drones

The occupiers have showcased the Lyagushka robotic platform’s first deployment on the front line. A video of the combat robot was released by russian media.

The footage shows the destruction of Ukrainian machine gun position in Avdiivka area from a distance of 800 meters. The ground drone was directed to its target with the assistance of the Mavic UAV. This event marks the first combat use of the Lyagushka drone, which had previously only been tested on a training ground.

The robotic platform is capable of carrying various munitions with electric detonators. External antennas are used to extend the communication range of the Lyagushka drone.

According to russian media, the Lyagushka drone is the first russian serially produced kamikaze drone, boasting a payload capacity of 30 kg, which enables it to carry ten times more explosives than an FPV drone. The Lyagushka UAV is operated with goggles and a joystick and can traverse rough terrain at a speed of 20 km/h.
