russia Launches 188 Drones During Night Attack on Ukraine, Only 12 Reach Targets

Over the last 10 days, russians used 830 Shahed drones and other decoys

During the long-range attack on the night of November 26, russia used the largest number of drones during the war against Ukraine: 188 drones of various types, including Shahed-136 and decoys such as Gerbera and Parodiia.

According to the report of the Ukrainian Air Force Command, 176 of these 188 drones were neutralized: 76 of them were shot down, 95 were lost, and 5 flew to Belarus. Thus, out of 188 russian drones, only 12, or 6% of the total number, were able to reach the target.

It is known that the attack resulted in the destruction of a critical infrastructure facility in the Ternopil region. As a result, JSC Ternopiloblenergo imposed temporary network restrictions until the consequences of the attack were addressed. In some regions of Ukraine, private and apartment buildings were also damaged. There was no information on casualties or injuries.

Thus, despite the launch of the largest drone attack ever, the result is far from what russian terrorists expected.

It should be noted that this number of drones is not the result of any rapid increase in their production. The statistics of drones launched by russia against Ukraine are as follows:

- November 25 - 145 drones

- November 24 - 73 drones

- November 23 - no drone attacks

- November 22 - 114 drones

- November 21 - no drone attacks

- November 20 - 122 drones

- November 19 - 87 drones

- November 18 - 11 drones

- November 17 - 90 drones during a massive combined attack.

That is, in 10 days, russians launched 830 Shahed drones and other decoys. It is possible that this variation is due solely to the pace of their receipt. The drones are used immediately upon arrival from production, so russians launch as many as they receive.

Earlier Defense Express reported that war in Ukraine had derailed russia's plans to modernize its naval fleet.
