The 58th brigade's electronic warfare company tested the Serval KUB system by suppressing Mavic and FPV drones launched during realistic field exercises

The 58th Brigade of Ukraine has tested Ukrainian Serval KUB electronic warfare system. The system was evaluated in a scenario designed to closely replicate battlefield conditions.

The brigade said electronic warfare systems have become one of the key elements of protection on the front line. They are used to protect personnel, positions, logistics routes, vehicles, shelters, and areas where Ukrainian drones are launched.

According to the brigade, such systems are particularly important for protecting frontline assets from russian FPV drones and reconnaissance UAVs. This has made the continuous testing and improvement of electronic warfare equipment an important part of operations.

During the latest test, the brigade's electronic warfare company conducted trials of the Serval KUB system. The military created a scenario involving two separate positions to assess the system under conditions resembling those encountered in combat.

At one position, operators launched Mavic and FPV drones. The Serval KUB electronic warfare system was deployed at another position and tasked with countering the drones.

During the test, the Serval KUB system successfully suppressed the operation of the launched drones. None of the UAVs reached the designated target during the trial.

The Serval KUB is Ukrainian electronic warfare system designed to suppress drone control, navigation, and video-transmission channels. Rather than physically destroying UAVs, such systems interfere with their ability to carry out their missions or return to their operators.
