The Suwalki Corridor (also known as the Suwalki Gap) is a potential flashpoint area in case of a standoff between russia and NATO

The Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported the participation of the 6th Mechanized Brigade of the Belarusian Armed Forces in training at the Gozhsky training ground and parts of the Grodno Region.

It is reported that at the training they actively employ the experience of the so-called "C-UAV" and extensively utilize drones. It is also noted that tank crews actively practice tactical actions involving firing from ambushes.

And these training could have been just usual if not for the fact that the Gozha training ground is located only 5 km from the Lithuanian border, opposite the Suwalki Corridor. This area is considered by NATO countries to be the most likely area where a theoretically possible invasion by russia could occur.

These training are taking place precisely where a concentration of mercenaries from the so-called "Wagner PMC" was previously observed. And all this follows the incident with trespassing of Poland's border by belarusian helicopters.

Overall, everything looks like this so far the belarusian army, according to kremlin plans, has at least to act as a distracting factor. And Minsk carried out precisely such maneuvers on the border with Ukraine throughout the whole summer of last year.

At the same time, in Poland, a quite realistic scenario of the use of Wagnerians has already been outlined. This scenario does not envision any "direct" combat actions, but it remains equally threatening.

As Defense Express reported, Wagner Forces in belarus Gathered in Front of the Suwalki Gap, Over Four Thousand Troops Recorded on Early August. We also wrote, that Ukraine’s Intelligence Chief Said Ukrainian Troops Would Enter the Crimea Soon.
