The coordinates of the enemy TOS-1A Solntsepek multiple rocket launcher (MLR) discovered with the help of a reconnaissance UAV were transferred by the Shadow unit to the fighters of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade, who attacked it with the help of a kamikaze drone.
The enemy vehicle appeared to be ready for a combat mission, so it was probably fully loaded with ammunition. As a result, after the drone hit the multiple rocket launcher, a powerful explosion occurred. Later, the Ukrainian military also showed footage of this burned-out russian flamethrower system.
Interestingly, this is the fourth TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system that the russians lost on the battlefield during October, 2023. Footage of the destruction of the previous vehicle was released on October 20, 13, and 7, respectively.
According to Oryx, in October, the Defense Forces of Ukraine broke the record for the destruction of enemy flamethrower systems. The latest case of destruction is the 12th TOS-1A system lost by the occupiers since February 2022.
It is also worth paying attention to the fact that three out of four TOS-1A Solntsepek in October were destroyed precisely by strike drones, which can easily turn this system into ashes, especially if it is loaded with ammunition.
As Defense Express reported, Ukraine’s Paratroopers Destroyed 9 russia’s Armored Combat Vehicles Just In One Combat. We also reported, that Defenders of Ukraine Knocked Occupiers Out of a Stronghold Near Bakhmut.
