Such a statement was made by the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Catherine Colonna, during the Munich Security Conference on Fabruary 18.
"You [Ukraine] will receive additional Caesar self-propelled howitzers soon as we are now producing them faster," Catherine Colonna said.

She also expressed the opinion that all European countries should adapt their economies to the accelerated production of weapons.
Earlier the Defense Minister of France, Sebastien Lecornu, announced late January, that France would ship 12 more Caesar truck-mounted howitzers and fresh air defense equipment to Ukraine to bolster the fight against Russian invaders.
The artillery pieces, adding to 18 already delivered, would be financed from a €200 million ($217 million) pot France set up to fund arms for Kyiv.
The 155mm Caesar self-propelled howitzers can set up, fire a highly-accurate volley at ranges of up to 40 kilometers and shift position before the enemy can locate them and fire back.
As Defense Express reported, the first batch of 14 AMX-10RC wheeled combat vehicles was sent to Ukraine after the Ukrainian crews completed their training at the Saumur Cavalry School (École de cavalerie, Saumur), one of the oldest French training centers.
