Ukrainian military tracked and eliminated a control station for operating UAVs together with the drones and crew

Ukrainian forces managed to destroy an important system of russian occupation army in Ukraine: the control unit of the "Orlan-10" ISR complex. The news was published by Ukrainian journalist Yurii Butusov.

He also shared a video showing the control unit itself, as well as "Orlan" drones, their operators and several other vehicles that apparently belong to the system – all destroyed by artillery strikes.

As noted by Butusov, scouts of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade found this recon complex near Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. Since no more details were provided, we can only assume that this system was eliminated during the Ukrainian offensive operation in northeastern Ukraine.

Anyway, the destruction of the entire "Orlan-10" complex (operates up to 4 drones) is a very good result, because this system serves as the "eyes" of russian artillery, providing adjustment for fire. Therefore its elimination makes it much harder to hit Ukrainian positions.

As a reminder, Ukrainian specialists had an opportunity to investigate into the "Orlan-10" system, as the entire system got captured during the mentioned Ukrainian offensive, with all the russian documentation included.

In general, if we take a look at the latest report on russian casualties in Ukraine, we can see that Ukrainian air defense is effectively countering enemy UAVs: since the beginning of the all-out invasion of russian forces, at least 956 russian drones were destroyed. And also, a record-high number of Iranian weaponry was eliminated just yesterday: six Shahed-136 loitering munitions and a single Mohajer-6 attack drone.
