Belarus has initiated a comprehensive review of its armed forces' combat readiness on the orders of President Alexander Lukashenko, the Ministry of Defense announced.
According to the ministry, the measures are designed to evaluate how quickly troops can respond to emerging threats and carry out assigned missions.

"A number of armed forces units will be placed on combat alert, move to designated areas, and perform the activities specified in the directive," the statement said.
The inspection is being conducted under the supervision of the State Secretariat of the Security Council and includes command-and-staff training, troop movements, and field exercises to assess unit coordination and mobility.

This announcement comes shortly after Belarus held annual mobilization readiness exercises from October 7 to 10, organized under the leadership of regional authorities.
